Our Agile & Scrum Trainings in Different Cities

Our trainings are aimed at instilling the core beliefs of Agile and Scrum and creating a transparent and collaborative environment where the team succeeds as a single entity. We provide a wide breadth of Scrum/Agile training courses for all levels of interests and budgets.

We offer Scrum Alliance designated trainings, upon completion of which the attendees will be eligible to a take an evaluation for obtaining the certification. We also offer a condensed 1-day trainings for those interested in learning more about scrum but are not willing to commit to a full course, or those who want to supplement their Agile education. What Different Agile & Scrum Trainings Do We Offer?

Agile and Scrum Training (1 day)

  • Scrum in Practice: the course is designed to illustrate Scrum in action.
  • Understanding of the Agile Manifesto and what it means to them.
  • Essence of Scrum: values, foundations and a new way of thinking.
  • Understanding how Scrum values and foundations are related to the practices.
  • Get a sense of what self-organization is (and is not).
  • Can draw a diagram of mechanics of Scrum: framework, roles, artifacts & flow.

Certified Scrum Master training (2 days)

The learning objectives for this course are:

  • List the five values of Scrum and the eight essential Scrum principles.
  • Draw a diagram describing the Scrum framework, highlighting all meetings, roles and artifacts.
  • Describe the rights and responsibilities of each role in Scrum – Team member, Product Owner, ScrumMaster and stakeholder.
  • Discuss with other participants what Scrum means to you and what it will mean to be a ScrumMaster in your organization.
  • Watch Scrum in action as the framework of Scrum will be used to deliver the course material.
  • Identify the main obstacles to using Scrum in your organization.
  • Practice applying ScrumMaster skills to solve real life problems.
  • Pass the Certified Scrum Master assessment.

 

 

Product Visioning Workshop (half day/1 day)

The following elements will be covered during the 4 hour interactive workshop (half-day)

  • Scrum in Practice: the course is designed to illustrate Scrum in action.
  • Understanding the purpose, formation, and articulation of a Vision statement.
  • Identify tools and processes for developing and writing an effective Vision statement.
  • Define a process for defining, analyzing, and creating profiles of product end-users.

The following elements will be covered during the 8 hour interactive workshop (1 day)

  • Scrum in Practice: the course is designed to illustrate Scrum in action.
  • Identify tools and processes for developing and writing an effective Vision statement.
  • Identify the elements and use of a Product Vision Board.
  • Define a process for defining, analyzing, and creating profiles of product end-users.
  • Understand the format and components of a well-written user story.
  • Create a Product Backlog that effectively develops and articulates the Product Vision.

 

Certified Scrum Product Owner training (2 days)

  • List the five values of Scrum and the eight essential Scrum principles.
  • Describe the role, key responsibilities and rights of the Product Owner.
  • Explain the purpose of the Product Backlog and rehearse writing real-life Product Backlog items.
  • Practice applying multiple prioritization techniques to maximize business value.
  • Identify new metrics to monitor and communicate status to product and project stakeholders.
  • Practice using iterative planning techniques to develop forward looking plans.
