FAQs on Pay-it-Forward/Donation-Only Classes

1. Why is it called ‘Pay-it-Forward’/ ‘Donation-Only’ course?

This course is funded on a donation-basis, where the attendees quote their own price.

Although it is a donation-only training, like any other training, we do have some basic expenditures like paying for the trainer’s hotel and travel expenses, the training room, etc. Therefore, we ask that those who can pay the regular and early-bird prices to do their bit, so that everyone can attend the course.

Our purpose for conducting these classes is to spread awareness about Scrum, as we strongly believe in its capacity to transform workplaces for the better. We would like EVERYONE to benefit from this new way of working and so we have mitigated the cost factor from our Pay-it-forward/Donation-only classes. In short, these classes enable us to give back to the community.

I really like this concept. As a PMP, I would like to volunteer my time to teach as PM class. Please let me know if this would help your pay-it-forward program.

    Sincerely,
