Here is a Webinar by Patricia Carlin, General Manager from ThoughWorks,India on Metrics for Agile Projects. I really like some of the facts mentioned by Patrica like

Measure only what you can act on.
When to use it and when to stop using.
Tell me how you will measure me and I will tell you how I behave – Goldratt.
Release Burn up – with Original Stories,Current Veolicy based projection and Original planned . I like that fact it can easily show the scope increases.
Defects and Unit Testing Metrics – this is good if it is used by the team.
Measure one level up , don’t use veolicy for each sprint , use that for release planning
