Here is a Webinar by Patricia Carlin, General Manager from ThoughWorks,India on Metrics for Agile Projects. I really like some of the facts mentioned by Patrica like
- Measure only what you can act on.
- When to use it and when to stop using.
- Tell me how you will measure me and I will tell you how I behave – Goldratt.
- Release Burn up – with Original Stories,Current Veolicy based projection and Original planned . I like that fact it can easily show the scope increases.
- Defects and Unit Testing Metrics – this is good if it is used by the team.
- Measure one level up , don’t use veolicy for each sprint , use that for release planning
