If you haven’t had the time or the inclination to commit to a basic introduction to Agile and Scrum, this introductory class will give you a brief look into the mechanics, roles, and principles of product development using Scrum. Come prepared to participate and interact with the central concepts of Scrum including the principles behind Agile product development, prioritization, running a sprint, scrum artifacts, and communication and transparency in Agile organizations. If you are a Project Manager, Product Manager, Functional Lead, Director, Business Analyst, Engineer, or Software Developer, this class will provide a solid foundation for how to take Agile concepts and Scrum to the next level in your organization or get started on a new path of collaboration, focus, and quality to propel your product development to new heights! Course Outline The course itself uses the principles of Scrum, where the learning outcome is driven by the needs of the participants through a combination of expert instruction and self-directed learning. Opportunities to reflect and adapt the direction of the course are offered at regular intervals. At the end of the training the participants will have the confidence and understanding to begin to socialize Scrum at their own organization and support teams in improving their processes.
